Workingmums.co.uk, a national organisation connecting mums and employers and creator of the Top Employer Awards, has recently released a new best practice report on flexible working.

Currently only 36% of employers have an official flexible working policy,* despite the wealth of evidence to suggest that agile working improves retention, talent attraction and efficiency – as demonstrated by our fellow winners at last year’s awards.

To tackle this, Workingmums.co.uk has created the best practice report to encourage employers to take their first steps into the world of flexible working.

Archana, who has now been with us for just over a year, is our full-time Support & Implementation Consultant. With two children and a busy family life, she often makes use of variable start and finish times to balance the school run and other commitments with a full-time role.

“Hireserve supports flexible work hours…That makes full-time working possible for me. The flexibility makes me feel greater loyalty to the company.”

Workingmums.co.uk included a case study about Archana in the best practice report, which also includes pieces from BAE Systems and London School of Economics.

From Shared Parental Leave (SPL) to diversity initiative, the report is packed with statistics and success stories to inspire other businesses.
