New faces

We had lots of exciting people news during 2016, from promotions to engagements!

In terms of newbies, we took on two new apprentices. First to join was Helen, our Digital Marketing Apprentice. Among many other things, Helen writes a number of our blogs (including this one, her first).

Next up was Phil, our newest tech wizard and Web Developer Apprentice. Working across a range of projects, Phil is also studying for a Level 3 Diploma in Software and Web Development.

We also expanded our Services team with Vicki, who joined us as Implementation Consultant and has already guided a number of new customers through their implementation through to Go Live and beyond. Our new faces are now firmly part of the Hireserve family.

On cloud 9 (well…7)

We were chuffed to start the year off with the news that Hireserve was accepted on to the G-Cloud 7 framework.

“Becoming a G-Cloud 7 provider cements our reputation as a secure, reliable and trusted supplier of innovative recruitment software.” – Jeremy, MD of Hireserve

The G-Cloud 7 framework offers public sector organisations the chance to search for and compare potential suppliers though the Digital Marketplace. We were (and still are) proud to be a part of it.

The Hireserve User Group

2016 marked our biggest User Group conference to date. The User Group is an annual event for Hireserve customers, and is an all-day conference featuring industry presentations, Hireserve ATS product updates and round-table discussions and networking.

For us, it’s the pinnacle event of our calendars – and when we take a moment to step back to see and hear our customers sharing ideas, inspiration and best practice with one another, it’s an amazing feeling.

Exciting new tech

We integrate with a number of innovative technology providers, from video interviewing to psychometric testing platforms. In the Spring of 2016 we added to our portfolio of integration partners with something quite unique for us – recruitment SMS technology, delivered by Engage Hub.

“This new integration with Engage Hub reduces email administration for our customers and enhances candidate experience. We’re ensuring in-house recruiters can make every step of the recruitment process easier, quicker and more connected for their candidates.” – Jeremy Ovenden

 A new home

We rounded off 2016 with crates and desk clear-outs as we moved into a new office! Whilst it was a big move for us, we didn’t go particularly far. In fact, we only moved about 50ft down the hallway…

Confused? As Hireserve continued to grow throughout 2016, it became clear to us that we needed more space. Luckily – and very conveniently – the office opposite ours became available during the year. It’s bigger than our previous office, and has more meeting and training rooms, which is going to be fantastic for support clinics, training sessions and much more.
