Due to continued growth and success, we’re currently looking for a hands-on, delivery focused Infrastructure Engineer to join our technology team – with primary responsibility for managing the infrastructure on which we deliver to our SaaS customers.  working up to a 30 hour working week, worked over 4 or 5 days.

You’ll have a passion for uptime and security!

You’ll have the ability to shape our future cloud strategy, working with our technology experts and our hosting providers (Rackspace and Microsoft Azure) to deliver the best for our customers.  You will be the kind of person who is constantly looking for a better way of doing things and will demonstrate the flexibility to work with our larger, on-premise customers.

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will report to the Head of Technology and will be responsible for:

Managing and planning the future of the infrastructure supporting our SaaS platforms:

    • VMs
    • Linux
    • Web servers
    • Mail servers
    • Oracle Database
    • Disaster recovery & backups

 Liaising with Hireserve’s hosting providers to:

    • Schedule and support software updates.
    • Act upon automated fault, security and performance monitoring alerts.

 Routine infrastructure configuration & deployment activities:

    • Apache
    • Email servers
    • SSL certificates
    • DNS
    • SSO

 Proactive identification and resolution of security vulnerabilities

 Deployment of application code to SaaS environments.
