You’ll be joining Hirserve at an exciting time in its growth, Hireserve recently joined the XCD Group pf companies.  XCD is a SaaS company delivering a single HR and Payroll solution on the Salesforce platform.  Hireserve provides the e-recruitment solution, providing an end-to-end recruitment process for its customers.

This role is integral to the success or Hireserve's core product development, reporting to the Chief Product Officer you'll be key to future proofing Hireserve's product offerings;. 

Core Role Responsibilities:

  • Work with key stakeholders to define the product strategy and roadmap
  • Lead product design and maintain the product development roadmap
  • Review potential developments; develop business cases to assess and prioritise actions
  • Coordinate, review and prioritise development activities
  • Support marketing, sales, professional services and support in implementing and supporting the product
  • Lead development and maintenance release notes, user and consultant guides

 

Tasks/Duties

 

  • Work with customers, executives and all operational departments to understand business objectives and product requirements
  • Lead monthly Product Board sessions to formulate product strategy and prioritisation
  • Create and maintain product roadmap
  • Assess enhancements/features and fixes.  Produce specifications including use cases and user stories, seeking acceptance from stakeholders.  Provide change specifications for development team
  • Work with development and QA; provide guidance to ensure these are understood and delivered
  • Support Head of Development and other developers to provide technical solution designs
  • Hold regular meetings with support, customer success and professional services teams understand product challenges from a customer perspective.
  • Produce regular Release Notes
  • Manage cross-department reviews and acceptance of new features ahead of release
  • Consider information security management issues for all new developments

 

 Skills and Experience

 

  • In depth understanding of Recruitment business processes and software
  • Internal and external requirements capture and documentation
  • Design and specification of software features of varying sizes
  • Experience designing user experience and journey e.g., with wireframes/mockups
  • Managing software projects through full lifecycle
  • Experience working closely with developers with sprint-based approach
  • Providing accurate estimations of design, development and QA effort and duration
  • Managing relationships with integration partners and clients

  

Beneficial Technical Experience

 

  • Oracle databases
  • PL/SQL or other procedural languages
  • Basic HTML and CSS troubleshooting
  • React JS or similar
  • Professional software for creating diagrams and mockups

  

We are flexible as to you where your work location is, you can be based from our Basingstoke or Bristol office, or if you prefer work from your home with occasional office attendances.
