Now this is a post for candidates.

Not our usual blog readership (usually we’re talking about in-house recruitment, Applicant Tracking technology and similar), but we recently wrote a guest blog for Adzuna, a job search engine.

“When you’re applying for a job, it’s natural to want to find out as much as you can about a potential employer.”

We explored the myriad little things that can tell a candidate a lot about an employer – before they’re even hit the apply button!

We all know the value of a strong employer brand and demonstrating an authentic company culture, especially when the talent we’re after is in high demand.

So in our post for Adzuna, we took a look at three elements of an employer presence, from their team members’ use of social media to their stance on flexible working, What could a candidate find out from them? And what message could an employer – perhaps unwittingly – be promoting?

“You won’t truly know what it’s like working somewhere there until you’re through the door on your first day…

…but there are cues and clues out there if you look for them.”

Read it now (as it might be interesting to see what candidates could find out about you!):
