Top Employer Awards 2014We are delighted to reveal that we have been awarded the Top Employer SME (1-25 staff) award!

During a ceremony held at the sleek Soho Hotel in London on Tuesday 4th November, the Awards celebrated the most progressive and positive approaches to flexible working. From household names such as Unilever and BAE Systems to a range of forward-thinking SMEs, businesses across the UK were recognised for their support of working parents and commitment to offering flexible opportunities for all staff members.

Our category (Top Employer SME (1-25 staff)) was looking for small companies who ‘demonstrate a real commitment to work life balance practices which specifically help working parents, such as flexible working.’ 

Karen Ovenden collects Hireserve Top Employer SME awardIt was an incredibly strong category, so we were over the moon – and in shock – when our name was pulled out of the golden envelope.

As Karen went up to collect the award, Gillian Nissim, Founder of, explained the judges felt our entry demonstrated that ‘flexible working runs across the company and is not just for parents… Hireserve has continued to forge ahead and prosper with a work culture built to bring out the best in its staff.’

We are so thrilled to have our flexible working practices recognised for a second time, and would like to congratulate all the winners and finalists on the night.
