Hireserve is delighted to announce that, in partnership with Unit4 Business Software, its e-recruitment technology has been selected by the University of York to manage its recruitment process.

The University is the current Times Higher Education “University of the Year”, and is consistently judged to be one of the top ten universities in the UK for teaching and research. The University is expanding physically and increasing the level of academic and research activity undertaken.  This managed growth is supported by recruitment strategies to attract world-class academic, research and support staff.

With this in mind the University has selected Unit4 Recruitment (formerly known as Agresso e-Recruiter) as its new web-enabled recruitment solution.  “We chose Unit4 Recruitment (Agresso e-Recruiter) because it is flexible and configurable, providing a well-designed, and adaptable solution for managing worldwide recruitment,” said Rob Hargrave, the University’s HR Shared Services Manager.

Unit4 Recruitmenr will make the application process for potential employees simple via an intuitive web interface. Once applications are submitted the University will then be able to track applications through the recruitment lifecycle.   “We felt the need to have a flexible solution, so that we could adapt to future recruitment changes and manage this within the Unit4 Recruitment product.” says Pat Lofthouse, the University’s HR Director.

In partnership with Unit4 Business Software, Hireserve delivers a secure web-based recruitment management application, supporting the full recruitment process, from start to finish.  e-Recruiter can be used as a stand–alone recruitment platform or  integrated with Agresso Business World ERP and Coda Financials software.
