The Volunteer Pool initiative was first developed by Poole and Bournemouth Councils for Voluntary Service (CVS). The two organisations support 1,500 charities and voluntary groups and needed a more effective way to promote volunteering vacancies online. In addition, they wanted to connect with local businesses and encourage their staff to volunteer.

We worked with Poole CVS and Bournemouth CVS on a pro bono basis to turn this idea into reality.

The Volunteer Pool comprises two key elements. The first is an engaging website with intuitive role search function and professional application process for volunteer candidates. The second is the powerful applicant tracking technology, which enables Poole CVS and Bournemouth CVS to upload high volumes of volunteering vacancies and manage volunteers simply and easily.

In addition to donating the ATS technology behind The Volunteer Pool, our team developed the brand, designed website and managed the project end-to-end.
